Wendy Shifflett of the administration division has been selected as the employee of the quarter.
Wendy has been with the health department since December 2021, and is the fiscal accounts clerk manager. Since her start at the health department, Wendy has worked diligently, recognizing the impact her department has in keeping many programs and other areas running smoothly. She has stepped into various roles without hesitation as needed, organizing and managing many duties at once and going above and beyond her responsibilities. Wendy is great at providing resolutions for challenges that occur and has phenomenal follow-up with her co-workers to make sure things are completed in a timely manner. Wendy has amazing customer service with vendors and other employees and a work ethic that others hope to emulate. She cares about her work and the health department as a whole, is dedicated and is an absolute pleasure to work with, according to her fellow employees.
