Parents with students who need to catch up on their required immunizations to go back to school should call the Washington County Health Department as soon as possible.
The best number to register for immunization clinics is 240-313-3210 (800-552-7724 TTY).
Parents who previously registered online for either the Aug. 14 or Aug. 24 clinics should please call the health department prior to arriving for their student’s appointment to verify the day/time of the visit.

Thursday, Aug. 24
All clinics are held from 1-7 p.m. at the health department, 1302 Pennsylvania Ave., in Hagerstown. Pre-registration is required to allow the nursing team to review records and requests.
Vaccinations that will be available at the clinics include:
- Hepatitis B
- Dtap (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis – whooping cough for younger students)
- Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis – whooping cough for older students)
- Td (tetanus and diphtheria)
- Polio
- MMR (measles, mumps and rubella)
- Varicella
- Meningococcal ACWY
