On Saturday, December 7th, WCHD’s Healthy Families program held its annual holiday party. Healthy Families program participants received a free meal and a present for each kid to take home. Children also had the opportunity to take a photo with Santa Claus. Several community organizations contributed to the holiday party, including the Antietam Exchange Club, the Ramada, and AC&T. Pathfinder is designed to encourage community members and visitors to take advantage of the many hiking, biking, boating, and outdoor activities available in Washington County, Maryland. The site is a special project of the Washington County Health Department as a part of our mission to improve health and encourage a healthy lifestyle for our citizens.
