Description: A Registered Nurse provides Case Management to children with an elevated blood lead level. The nurse coordinates follow-up lead testing with the child’s physician and provides education to the parents on lead poisoning prevention. The nurse also works closely with the Maryland Department of Environment and coordinates residential environmental assessments for children with any blood lead level 3.5ug/dl or higher.
