Missy Crocker of the administration team at the Washington County Health Department was named Employee of the Quarter for the first quarter of calendar year 2026.
Her nomination notes that Missy “goes above and beyond, serving as the driving force behind many events and initiatives that keep the staff connected and motivated.” She takes on “tasks that require incredible attention to detail, creativity and dedication; completes things quickly and always elevates ideas creatively; and helps strengthen the organization’s culture and foster a sense of community among employees with all that she does.”
Missy’s nomination goes on to state that “through thoughtful planning and a creative approach to events, she creates opportunities for employees to connect, celebrate successes and feel appreciated. Whether it’s organizing large-scale staff gatherings or coordinating smaller, spontaneous morale boosters, she consistently brings people together in ways that make everyone feel included and valued.”
Her nominator writes “Missy Crocker’s efforts remind us that our workplace is more than just a job – it’s a community built on collaboration, appreciation and shared purpose.”
