Are you uninsured? Or do you have health insurance but not use it?
If so, the Maryland Insurance Administration wants to hear from YOU! _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Schaefer Center for Public Policy at the University of Baltimore is conducting focus groups with residents of Washington County about barriers to getting and using health insurance for people living in low-income, rural, or medically underserved areas. The focus group will discuss challenges individuals in your community face when trying to get or use health insurance. Focus group participation is voluntary and your individual responses will be kept confidential. Eligible and registered participants receive a $50 Visa gift card upon completion of the 2-hour focus group.
Refreshments will be provided. Childcare is not provided – children are not allowed to attend.
To be eligible to participate in the focus group …
1. One of the following statement must be true about you.
a. You do not have health insurance; or
b. You have health insurance, but have not been to a medical provider in the last 12 months; or
c. You have health insurance and have been to a medical provider in the past 12 month and did not use your insurance.

2. You must reside in one of the following zip codes:
