HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 2025) – Due to fiscal restrictions, the Washington County Health Department is no longer able to provide the Cribs for Kids program.
“Cribs for Kids is a valuable program and we will continue our efforts to find new and innovative ways to revive and support this essential work,” said officials.
The Washington County Health Department is asking all partners in the area to please refrain from making referrals or dispensing program information on the Cribs for Kids program until further notice.
While hoping to minimize the impact of people being turned away, the health department will continue to support county residents with navigation through other local resources and striving to meet the needs of those who reach out.
