FreeSeptember is National Preparedness Month! Learn how to keep your family safe in the event of a real emergency.
Join us for this family friendly event that includes:
- free raffle drawings; Prizes from Mission BBQ, Lowes, and Shawley’s
- demonstrations

- DJ
- Kids’s Zone with hands-on activities
- 15+ vendors with preparedness information, handouts and freebies!
First 100 families will receive a $10 gift card to Lowes!
Pathfinder is designed to encourage community members and visitors to take advantage of the many hiking, biking, boating, and outdoor activities available in Washington County, Maryland. The site is a special project of the Washington County Health Department as a part of our mission to improve health and encourage a healthy lifestyle for our citizens.
