Walk Maryland Day & Walk-October

Walking is Maryland’s Official Exercise!

Join us on Wednesday October 2nd for Walk Maryland Day to Kick Off Walk-October!

The WCHD is partnering with Washington County Parks & Rec to host our Kick-Off walk at the Hagerstown Fairgrounds from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.  WCHD and Parks & Rec staff will lead walks every 30 min at the following times 4:10 p.m., 4:40 p.m., 5:10 p.m., & 5:40 p.m.

Local vendors will be set up to provide resources on physical activity, healthy eating, hypertension, diabetes and more!
