Jennifer Shepheard has been named the Washington County Health Department’s Employee of the Quarter for the 3rd quarter of 2021. Jennifer is a Community Health Educator II with the Nursing Division. She has been employed by the Washington County Health Department since November 2018. Jennifer stepped up to lead the contact tracing team in tracking COVID-19 transmission and developed tracking and reporting systems to ensure accurate case investigation. She also provided essential epidemiological skills to the analysis of community data to provide a clearer picture of COVID-19 in the community. Jennifer’s professionalism and adaptability have resulted in an effective contact tracing program that has helped many people in the community avoid COVID-19 infection. Her selection reflects her outstanding responsibility and initiative.
