Lisa Getka has been named the Washington County Health Department’s Employee of the Quarter for the 1st quarter of 2021. Lisa is a Peer Recovery Specialist with the Behavioral Health Division. She has been employed by the Washington County Health Department since March 2018. Lisa provides excellent care to clients and demonstrates a compassionate understanding of the needs of women struggling with substance use. By striving to meet clients’ individual needs and her eagerness to find new ways to address unmet needs, she has benefitted clients and the CAMEO and Recovery Coordination programs, including by increasing referrals to the Recovery Coordination Program by 50%. Her selection reflects her outstanding dedication and innovation.
