Prevent Type 2 Diabetes with Lifestyle Change Program
Community members are gearing up to prevent type 2 diabetes together with the PreventT2 lifestyle change program offered by the Washington County Health Department. Guided by a trained lifestyle coach, groups of participants in PreventT2 will learn the skills they need to make lasting changes that prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. Classes start January 8th!

Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program
The Washington County Health Department is offering a program to help Maryland residents control their blood pressure. Participants will receive a free blood pressure monitor that they can use to check their blood pressure at home. Participants will also work with their healthcare provider to keep their blood pressure under control. There is a limited number of blood pressure monitors available.
