Barbara Harrison of the nursing division has been selected as the employee of the quarter. From day one of accepting a temporary position with the Washington County Health Department’s COVID-19 response team in June 2020, Barb has been a joy to be around and work alongside. Her positive energy overflows regardless of circumstances surrounding her. Barb has supported nearly every facet of the COVID-19 response, including contact tracing, community outreach, clinic registration, call center and organization of resources. Following this continuous dedication to the COVID-19 team, Barb accepted an office administrative position in the nursing division in June 2022. Since transitioning to this new role, she has continued with her professionalism, kindness, flexibility, attention to detail and willingness to assist anyone on staff or from the community. Barb provides a voice on the other end of the phone that our customers and clients can connect with, knowing they are receiving her undivided attention. Barb is just amazing and makes many people smile every day.
