Save-A-Life Day positions health department team members at designated locations and times for an entire day of Narcan training and distribution to the public. This annual event is held throughout the region to coincide with September’s National Recovery Month. Sites where Narcan will be available are secured in advance of the day and the schedule is heavily promoted. This offers anyone interested in receiving Narcan exact times and locations to go and collect the kits that day. From early morning until early evening, team members will be seemingly everywhere!
